Deploying our CSR funds into local projects, in close partnership with the communities and organisations we support.
Our CSR projects are funded through the Caspian Foundation, a Section 8 non-profit company. We focus on projects that are local and actively engage with the partners that we support. Areas of engagement and support have included education, health, women's empowerment, environmental sustainability and technology incubation.
A project we're currently supporting
The Reading Year (TRY)
A free book every month, for a year, for 100 college students in Hyderabad. In partnership with Luna Books.
A light-touch programme that attempts to remove at least a few of the obstacles that lie between wanting to read and going on to make a steady habit of it. TRY is aimed at young and emerging adults who want to start reading, or would like to read more or better than they currently do. We want to know whether a gently guided year of reading helps participants build a reading habit that lasts beyond the year, and what kind of support makes the difference. We will report what we find in combined, anonymous form, and if it works, we hope to run further cohorts, including in other cities across India.
Applications are open from 1 October to 31 October 2026, and are open to college students in Hyderabad aged 18 to 24 with a valid student ID. We read every application, and if more than 100 meet our criteria, we choose by lottery. Everyone hears back by 21 November.
