The Caspian Logo is based on the dandelion flower. After a dandelion blooms, each of its tiny flowers produces a seed. Seeds are then carried away by the wind and travel like tiny parachutes reaching far corners of the globe. Unlike most other flowers, dandelions are farther spread and tend to grow under more challenging conditions.
Caspian considers this to be an apt analogy for its work through the funds it manages and advises. |

| Through its investments, Caspian has helped in the development of several microfinance Institutions (MFIs) in India that work in difficult, hitherto under-served areas, providing financial services to unbanked, low-income population who have been left out of the formal financial system. |
